Covenant Laureate Award Winner
Eight-year-old Matthew Goddard has been awarded the Covenant Laureate Award for his excellent book report on the book Moses the Kitten. Matthew has always been a good student, according to his grade auditor Mrs. Post, but this year his mother reported that he is finding his third grade curriculum to be very challenging.
Matthew, however, has met that challenge head on in writing book reports. "What I particularly like about his report on Moses the Kitten," says Mrs. Post, "was how he discussed the meaning of the story, its application to us, as well as his support with use of Scripture." Matthew lives in Montana and has been enrolled with Covenant Home since kindergarten. He enjoys woodworking, working with his hands, and is also a very good artist. Congratulations, Matthew! We anticipate many good things from you in the future.
