Alternates:		Westminster Shorter Catechism (2 years), The Kingdom of God (2 years), The Ministry of Christ (2 years), Summary of Christian Doctrine, or The Kingdom and the Power. These courses may be substituted for regularly scheduled Bible courses.

Foreign Language	various	This subject, as well as significant extra-curricular pursuits, is strongly recommended, but currently optional. See printed catalog for information on seeking course approval.
Credits required for high school diploma = 20. (CHC recommends that college bound students have 22 credits.) Foreign language study, especially Latin, is highly recommended for the college bound student. (See our course catalog regarding the importance of foreign language study, or contact the CHC office for further information, 1-800-578-2421 or 1-262-246-4760). Music, art and other pursuits can be included in your transcript with appropriate credit assigned. It is possible for families to replace our standard course with an alternate of their choice. An alternate of this type must have prior approval and may replace the course listed or be taken when a subject’s requirements have been fulfilled. A student must be in the Grade Auditing service to quailify for a CHC diploma and transcript. Transcripts are issued, at your request, to the colleges of your choice directly from the Covenant Home office. Please allow two weeks for processing transcript requests. Records/transcripts are not kept for students not enrolled in the Grade Auditing program. Students enrolling in Covenant Home’s Grade Auditing program after grade nine must supply a transcript of previous high school work. Please call for details (1-800-578-2421 or 1-262-246-4760). Students seeking a diploma must be enrolled in the Grade Auditing program by eleventh grade. All students seeking a diploma must take Bible while enrolled with Covenant Home Curriculum (1-800-578-2421 or 1-262-246-4760). Bible courses are not a requirement of previous work.
