In order to take this course, a student must have completed a high school physics course, preferably Exploring Creation with Physics. Completion of both texts will give the student the equivalent of one year of university-level physics. It is appropriate for the student to take the Advanced Placement Test, if desired, after completion of the course.
Advanced Physics in Creation provides detailed descriptions of kinematics, dynamics, rotational motion, gravity, oscillations, waves, optics, thermal physics, electrical forces, electrical potential, DC circuits, magnetic forces, atomic physics, and nuclear physics. The student is also given an introduction to the fascinating optics of special relativity and general relativity. Labs are required and make use of household items.
Prerequisites: Physics and trigonometry
