This course will provide a rigorous foundation in chemistry, in order to prepare the student for a college-level course. Exploring Creation with Chemistry covers significant figures, units, classification, the mole concept, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, thermodynamics, kinetics, acids and bases, redox reactions, solutions, atomic structure, Lewis structures, molecular geometry, the gas laws, and equilibrium.

While the laboratory experiments are designed for the home, some of them are easier with specialized equipment, detailed in the book. (Prerequisite: Algebra I)
